CUI

Introduction

Current clinical systems have significantly different user interfaces. The display of common items and their layout on screens is often inconsistent between different suppliers' systems as is their input. There is a risk that users moving between different clinical systems may misinterpret displayed information or enter data incorrectly.

The Common User Interface (CUI) is a set of standards that define a common interface for healthcare IT systems to address this problem.
